Out of the Box: Preflight

In addition to the Parrot Disco, the bundle also includes the Parrot Skycontroller 2 and the Parrot Cockpitglasses (FPV/First-Person View) goggle. Parrot Skycontroller 2 gives you precision flying,  while FPV gives you an inside-the-cockpit view as you soar through the air.

The goal of this guide is to familiarize you with the essentials of the Parrot Disco so you can take it to the sky as quickly as possible. This guide is divided into two parts: Pre-flight and Flying.

  • Pre-flight covers the steps necessary in preparing for your first flight. This section will show you how to charge the Parrot Disco and Parrot Skycontroller 2, how to connect them to your smartphone and how to download updates.
  • Flying covers the basic operation of the Parrot Disco. This section will show you how to launch and land the Parrot Disco, and how to use FPV to further enhance your flying experience.

To maximize your enjoyment of the Parrot Disco, make sure you have read through all of the following before flying.
