Re: recalibrate Black Edition SkyController repeatedly

This is the problem i'm having as well...

The update connected to HDMI failed also..

it kept replaying some ad.  just like what happend to you.

Parrot told me to re install the latest version.

I assumed I had the latest version because it didn't

load the update and reboot like it should have.

But I have a blue Bebop 1.   & red skycontroller...

when I open the app under "controller" it shows an

all black skycontroller (The bebop 2 skycontroller)

I'm wondering if I downloaded the wrong skycontroller update?

*before every flight I need to calibrate the skycontroller.  and the

Drone flys crazy, and wonders while hovering!

It's returned home spining 360s (the orientation)..

but Let me know if you found a fix.   Thanks !

@X-ParrotCommuni

Hi Parrot,

Do you have a solution for this on Android phone?

When was the bug corrected? Was the bug fixed on firmware version 1.7.4 ?

Re: recalibrate Black Edition SkyController repeatedly

I have got the same issue also. Does it relate to faulty hardware?

I also had experienced this directly after the initial update but it appears to have been corrected because I don't have that issue any longer.  Fortunately, calibration of the Skycontroller only takes a few seconds and is effortless.

...I'm writing to ask if anyone has experienced what I have been experiencing with my Black Edition SkyController. For some strange reason, everytime that I power up (turn on) my SkyController, I have to recalibrate it. Is this normal or is there a fix being made by the RD group at Parrot? Again before FreeFlight Pro, I calibrated it once and had no problem.

I have to recalibrate more frequently, using SC1/1.7.4 & FFPro 4.1.14 but it's not every SC1 power up.  Battery changes can slip by un-noticed.  If the radar display is off, I'll check and usually find the calibrate request.  It has been reported and I suspect it will be resolved in a future release.
