please, How I can find my BP2 after a crash? where I can see the last GPS location? do you guys use a separeted GPS device?
Tap on the drone's name on the main screen of FreeFlight Pro. The last known location should come up on a map. Touch the map and it will open a bigger, zoomable map of the last known GPS position.
I dont fly with a SC, but what I read in other post is you can only pilot with the SkyController and use your phone as FirstPersonView.
If you want to pilot with your phone then connect it directly to your BB2 (via WIFi) :-)
Turn OFF the Sky controller, turn ON the drone, and look for the drone's name in your phone's wifi. Connect to it, and THEN open FreeFlight Pro. Within a couple of seconds you should be automatically connected.
As mentioned in a posting earlier, yes during a Had Reset there is no blinking Power Button anymore. You will hear the BB2 stop and start again, and thats it. Also with a Power On the Power Button will not blink anymore. I have no problems with video but then again I dont use a SC. :-)
Im practicing flying my bebop 2 fpv, 2 flights in house only so far. . . . . . . . . . . .
As stated several times in this forum: Bebop2 is not made for indoor flights :-) you get to much trouble and crashes besides that you dont have save bumbers like Bebop1
Tests tonight were all with the BB2 off. I tried every combination of Airplane mode on/off, bluetooth on/off, hotspot on/off, turning on SC2 first then connecting iPad, opening FFP first with iPad connected to SC2 then turning on SC2 and on and on, old Lighting, new Lighting. No sucess.
Then I broke out my old iPad A6x, maybe 6 years old. Downloaded the FFP app, connected to the SC2 after it was already on and blinking red. It connected immediately to SC2. I turned on the BB2 and it connnected immediately to SC2. Flew around the basement, no problem. This was done in Airplane mode as above.
I am convinced this is a IOS problem, 11.1.2, sloppy coding by the pukes at Apple. Unfortunately my old iPad will not fit in the SC2 smart phone cradle!
You can tell it's been hard reset properly as when it connects to WiFi on your phone it will be the default WiFi network and will ask your country
They left the blinking part on a Hard Reset.
Theres is a (very) short blink and the noise stops, after a short while the BB2 starts up again.
I assume the Hard Reset is done after that, but since we dont have a manual we dont know for shure :-)
